As a licensed adoption agency in Oregon, Adoptions of Southern Oregon, Inc. provides services to both birth parents and adoptive parents in recognition that adoption is not an event, but a process that requires a great deal of preparation and dedication from all concerned. Services include: pre and post counseling, home studies, post placement services, free counseling for birth parents, and a support group for birth mothers. For families who have adopted children five years and older, a Family Attachment Program can be provided, that is designed to facilitate the attachment and bonding process. The agency is an active member of SNAC and COAA.
