PLAN Loving Adoptions Now, Inc.

PLAN Loving Adoptions Now, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c)(3), full-service, licensed adoption agency, located in McMinnville, Oregon. PLAN was founded in 1975 by adoptive parents who were concerned about orphaned Vietnamese children. Led by Executive Director Margaret Nice, herself an adoptive parent, PLAN staffers are zealous in their commitment to children and families. PLAN works with families in all 50 states and with U.S. citizens living abroad, lovingly helping them through the adoption process, both internationally and through four domestic programs:

Domestic Programs:

African-American Infant

PLAN coordinates with several agencies across the country, primarily in Florida, Georgia and Texas, who are working with birthmothers planning African-American or bi-racial newborn infant adoptions. This program is open to families living throughout the United States.

Loving Options

Loving Options is a unique program because of its emphasis on open adoption. Birthparents select the adoptive family, and nearly all of our birthparents choose a family who is willing to have a face-to-face meeting. This program is open to families living in Oregon, Idaho and Washington who are experiencing infertility or secondary infertility. The Loving Options program offers newborn infants, usually of Caucasian descent.

Oregon State Program

The Oregon Department of Human Services has hundreds of children in foster care waiting for permanent, adoptive homes. The children in state custody have a wide range of special needs resulting from varied backgrounds and life experiences. This program is open to Oregon families who have been married for at least one year and to Oregon singles.

Special Needs Infant Adoption

This program incorporates an educational component to prepare families to adopt newborn infants prenatally exposed to various substances or with more severe health histories in the birth family. This program is open to Oregon couples who have been married for at least one year and to Oregon singles. The plan is also open to childless couples and couples who are currently parenting children.
